From Data Minded Solutions to Noteworth: our (re)brand story

It all started when a friend of mine who had been diagnosed with diabetes had an issue with her glucometer: it repeatedly failed due to interference with her hospital pager. Frustrated, she told me something that sticks with me to this day: “You’re the engineer. You fix it!” Ever since then, I knew there had to be a better way for people like my friend, and their doctors, to tackle a chronic condition like diabetes with technology.

So, Nishant and I founded Data Minded Solutions, and ever since, we’ve been working tirelessly at reducing the friction in the industry with adopting meaningful technology and incorporating the best data into healthcare decisions, for both physicians and patients. 

Now, nearly two years later, we’ve grown a kickass team, raised venture capital funding, and have had time to do some soul-searching. We’ve realized that the challenge we’re up against is so much bigger than a single health condition. That we could offer a previously unavailable stream of data to physicians and a new way for patients to track their progress and keep up the good work. That we are tackling the data gap in healthcare with a single, all-encompassing platform.

So, we’re excited to announce that Data Minded Solutions is now Noteworth.

Our fundamental philosophy is still the same: that the harnessing of information can improve the human experience, and solve the problems that really matter. But our mission is renewed: to transform healthcare through technology and by helping our partners revolutionize the way they engage, treat and attract patients.

Why Noteworth?

  • Our name is lightly coined from the word “noteworthy.” Since we capture noteworthy, meaningful health data and for providers and patients alike, the name accurately and easily sums up our brand and ethos. 
  • By describing what we do, and thanks to the keyword ‘worth’ right there in the name, Noteworth also speaks to our value as an additional data stream that can help provide physicians with a fuller health narrative.
  • Lastly, the name tips its hat to the world of health by lightly referencing doctor’s notes, medical record notes, and the notes patients take to log their readings. 

Of course, an identity is about more than just a new name. So we’ve redesigned our website to better reflect our new mission and platform.
